The Moments

Nothing significant has happened in the last few weeks/months. It has been a long, cold winter and we are all ready for spring. Ready for sunny days, bike rides, dirt hills, etc. This winter has been so cold that the kids haven't really enjoyed the snow. Although I did get a few pictures of them catching snowflakes.

There has also been some long, boring nights in the house where things like this happen....don't ask.

Paiton and her 2nd grade class put on a very touching school program. The theme was Martin Luther King Jr and treating everyone the same. These cute little 7 years old had a lesson to teach us parents. I cried through most of it because it was so great. They sang songs like True Colors, Lean on Me, and This Little Light of Mine. I hope she can always remember these great lessons.

This is Paiton, Miss Westover (her 2nd grade teacher), and her friend Marley.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her teacher. What a great year.

We have had a few more attempts at potty training Kole with no success. He wants nothing to do with it and when you ask him when he will go in the potty he says "soon". Oh really? Oh well, we will get there someday.
This poor little boy has no idea he is a boy. With two older sisters he wants to do everything they do including painting nails, wearing dresses, and doing his hair. Today he asked for a ponytail and loved it when I did it. :) He insists on his nails painted and I couldn't resist this picture. It is a fashion show put on by Paiton and her friends. He will hate me one day for this, I'm sure.

That's all for now. Let's all keep praying for spring....okay?
