Grandma and Grandpa came over for dinner. After dinner we decorated Gingerbread Men for Santa. We also drew names in my little family so we had our gift exchange that night. It was different but very fun. I look forward to many more Christmas Eve's and our own traditions.
The girls decorating Gingerbread Men.
We left carrots, cookies, strawberry milk (Saige's idea), and chocolate milk (Paiton's idea) for Santa. Paiton left him a little note, so sweet. They were so excited this year and truly believed in the magic of Christmas.
The loot before Santa.
The girls were so excited to go to bed - which never happens at my house. They kept saying, "can we go to bed now?" and afraid if they didn't get to bed Santa wouldn't come. Here is the going to bed pictures.
Christmas morning. Everyone excited for their presents.
Kole received a wiggle racer of his very own. He loves the girls wiggle racers so he got his own.
Paiton received a faux American Girl Doll with a Horse. :-) As I imagined, she never plays with it so I'm glad I didn't fork over the $100 for the real-deal.
Saige received her very own Aerial Vanity. She loves this thing. She is such a girl and she just sits and stares at herself for hours. She loves make up and getting herself all dolled up.
The aftermath......
Overall, it was a great Christmas. I love the excitement and joy from our kids. Merry Christmas.
