Kole is already 18 months old, my favorite age. I love this age because they really start to develop a personality, they start to talk, they start to mimic others, I love it.
This kid is crazy. He is into everything. He wants to be part of everything going on and is now refusing to be a baby. He won't sit in his highchair because he wants to be at the big table with everyone else. He insists on eating with a fork or spoon. He does everything his sisters do, plays, brushes his teeth, reads books, etc.
He has his own spot at the table. :-)
He is starting to talk. He says, "Da Da", "Mama", "Pay Pay" (Paiton), "Aaaj" (Saige), "Ouch", "Uh Oh", "Juice", "Juice" (shoes), "Eh r you" (where are you?) and more. He knows where his nose, eyes, hair, belly, feet, chin, ears, tongue, and butt (thanks to Paiton) are.
(This is him saying "shoes", he wants to go outside)
He takes after his Dad with his cleanliness. I guess he will make a great husband one day. He loves to clean. If we get the Clorox wipes out he insists we give him one and he goes to town cleaning with it. One day I was doing the dishes and I looked over to see Kole scrubbing away on the table with a paper towel he found on the ground. :-)
Another funny story about his cleanliness. My mom came over to watch him one day and she put her shoes in the living room (not the correct place for shoes in our house). He kept pointing at them but Grandma didn't get the hint. Finally, he picked up her shoes and put them away with the rest of our shoes.
A few pictures of him cleaning.
He knows when he is in trouble. In fact, he will slap his own hand and say "No, No."
He is happy and sweet when he is not tearing things apart. He loves to give hugs and kisses. He is so fun to be around and always makes me smile.
I just took away his bottle. It makes me happy that I will never need another bottle again, and sad at the same time. My kids are growing up. He still gets mad when I put him to bed without his "Ba" but he is getting used to it. It always amazes me how strong our kids are. I thought he would never make it without his bottle and dreaded the day I was forced to take it away. He handled it like a champ. He cried for maybe 15 minutes, and went to sleep.
I love this kid and so happy he is part of our family.
