Today I'm thankful for Friday nights! Friday nights at our house are fabulous. We have traditions of pizza, movies, family, and friends. I usually say to my kids a few times every Thursday - "Tomorrow is Friday" and they cheer, clap, and act like Christmas may be coming. :)
Sometimes we have friends sleepover (which is like Christmas), and sometimes we just hang out and watch movies. We love to camp in the living room. We bring out the sleeping bags, pillows, and blankets and have a 'sleepover' with just us. Sometimes on special occasions we go out to a movie, bowling, or something else but there are a few things that are certain, we ALWAYS have pizza, and it is ALWAYS a party.
Fridays are the end of a work week, a time to relax, and a time to enjoy my sweet, sweet family. Yeah for Friday nights.
PS. Rory would also like me to mention it is the day GoldRush is on - his favorite TV show. Usually after the kids are in bed, we have our 'date night' watching GoldRush together. I usually fall asleep but I always look forward to doing something together and enjoying each other.
